Hi, I’m Kat!

she/her

I am an Educational Consultant and Coach with more than a decade of experience serving communities of color in South Side Chicago, East Harlem, and East Los Angeles. I’m a native Angelino who resides in the Bay Area and the proud daughter of Korean Immigrants.

My consulting practice is focused on developing exceptional leaders and teachers of color by drawing from my experience as a TFA Corps Member, School Leader, K-5 Curriculum Designer and Leadership Coach!

I am a member of Teach For America's Association for Alumni of Color Board and also certified by the Equity Literacy Institute as a Racial Equity Training Facilitator. I strongly believe that every educator has the power and potential to create racially just and equitable learning environments for their students.

Let's partner up to create transformational change!

People First. Advance Equity. Joy & Rigor.

Kat has made a beautiful and lasting impact at our school. As a teacher, she modeled excellence in her instruction and relationships with students and families. Even before stepping into administration, she spread that excellence by supporting teachers like me. Kat knew me as a first-year apprentice teacher, and because of her coaching, mentorship, and friendship over the last 5 years, I have grown into a better educator and leader, now stepping into my own administrative role. She has been able to see, hear, and respond to what I need in order to succeed in this work and stay in this work. For this, for her love for our students, and for continuously expanding my reflections on liberation, I will be forever grateful.”
